STUDENT NEWSLETTER

Patricia Blanco is passionate about law, Laurel Street and writing. Born in La Rioja, and proud to be so, she has received the "Talentoaward " from the Salón del Estudiante de Navarra to the best transcript of the University of Navarra. A 9'9 average. That's nothing. Despite the recognition, she assures that intellectual capacity is not enough without "effort, work and organization".

Spending time outdoors, playing sports and being surrounded by her people are some of the hobbies she combines with her routine as a student. In addition, she has just published her first book: "I love you," I said, and unveiled the secret of my life. She says that when it comes to expressing her feelings, she does it "better writing than talking".

If she could choose a historical figure to have a coffee with, the Riojan would choose "the most relevant person in the history of mankind, Jesus Christ". Today we put ourselves in his shoes!

1.- How to get the best transcript of the University?
It is a matter of work. I am a firm believer that if you don't accompany your intellectual capacity with effort, work and organization, you don't advance. I believe this wholeheartedly.

2.- How is a normal day in your life?
My day starts at 8 o'clock, whether I'm studying, doing an internship or in class. I may go to the gym in the morning or in the afternoon, it depends on the day. After lunch, around 15:30, I get back to homework. And after 21:00, I rest: dinner, going out, socializing... but after that time I don't study.

3.- The best thing about your degree program, about law?
All of it. I am passionate about my degree program. I tell everyone that Law is the most beautiful Degree in the world. It has to do with the life of each and every one of us, with what surrounds us and affects us.

4.- Since when have you been writing? What does writing mean in your life?
I have always liked language and literature. In 4th grade of ESO I opened a graduate blog Las 22.939 palabras del Quijote (22.939 words of Don Quixote). And I started publishing, mainly poetry, poetic prose and philosophical essay . I have rescued the blog entries in a book I just published, "I love you", I said, and I revealed the secret of my life. I have always expressed myself much better writing than speaking and writing serves me to share with the world everything I love.

5.- The most rewarding part of your day to day life.
The people around me: my parents, my sister, my friends, my boyfriend... Being able to share time with all these people.

6.- If you had not studied Law, what would you have done?
HispanicPhilology . Or Philosophy.

7. Song, book, movie.
"Open Season" by High High Highs; "The Catcher in the Rye"; and "Back to the Future".

8.- The best thing about Logroño?
The people, because we are from the north but without being the typical north. And Laurel street, the mythical street of pinchos.

9.- A hobby.
Reading, writing, doing sports, going out with friends...

10.- Historical person with whom you would have a cup of coffee.
With Jesus Christ, because he is the most relevant person in the history of mankind, whether we are believers or not. There is only one before and one after Christ.

11.- Name a name you are proud of from a Spotify playlist.
I don't have Spotify... I download the songs on an iPod.

12.- Sport or fashion?
Sport.

13.- Favorite Disney character?
Luke, Jessie's Luke. He had charisma.

Fiat or Mini?
I have a Fiat, so Fiat.

15.- Favorite place in the world?
An abandoned parking lot in Lardero, which is a small town next to Logroño, where I used to ride my bike.

16.- Pereza or El Canto?
El Canto del Loco.

17.- Something that inspires you.
The sense of duty and doing what has to be done.

18.- A topic you would be talking about for hours.
The monarchy. Or the Law.

19.- You finish the degree program in May. Is there anything you still want to do in Pamplona?
Climbing the Perdón at your leisure and spending the afternoon there, for example.

20.- The University of Navarra is...
Rigor, excellence, precision and training.
