Three bronze medals and one honor medal accredited specialization at the International Biology Olympiad 2014

The Spanish team that was formed at the University of Navarra for the International Biology Olympiad 2014 has obtained three bronze medals and one accredited specialization of Honor in the meeting held in Bali (Indonesia), from July 6 to 13.
These are the students of high school diploma Flor Andrea Alonso, from IES María Soliño de Cangas del Morrazo in Galicia (Bronze); Jorge Lázaro, from high school La Farga de Mirasol in Catalonia (Bronze); Nil Sáez, from IES Puig-reig in Catalonia (Bronze); and Carlos Giner, from high school Nuestra Señora del Pilar de Valencia (accredited specialization of Honor), who during a week received an intensive training in the School of Sciences and the research center Applied Medicine (CIMA), based on theoretical and practical classes focused on the agenda of the test.
This preparation was part of the award obtained by the finalists of the national phase, which also included the four Spanish students who will attend the Ibero-American Biology Olympiad in Mexico, from September 7 to 13.
Also participating in the program were students Andrea Aliende (high school El Huerto de Pamplona), Marina Agueda (Amma Guadalupekoa de Fuenterrabía.
