The University of Navarra will study healthy habits and the economic impact of sports in the city of La Nucia, Alicante, Spain

The University of Navarra and the City Council of La Nucia (Alicante) have signed a agreement through which joint work will be carried out in subject sport, health promotion and economic impact of sport in society. Both institutions are programs of study Olympic Centers.
On behalf of the University of Navarra, Tomás Gómez-Acebo, Vice President and Bernabé Cano, Mayor of La Nucía, participated in the signature of agreement .
Within the framework of this agreement, the University of Navarra will make programs of study on the economic and social impact of sport in La Nucia, region and province, as well as on the benefits of sport internship on the health of its inhabitants.
The programs of study Olympic Centers have been created with the intention of extending the scope of action of the Spanish Olympic Academy, by means of carrying out activities for the dissemination of the Olympic Movement, jointly with the different Centers.
