Nerea Aldabe Gonzalez, a student of 2nd year of high school diploma of the high school Luis Amigó of Pamplona, has obtained the best grade in the autonomic phase of the Biology Olympiadheld at the University of Navarra. Rebeca Aldaz Martínez, from high school IES Padre Moret, and Adrián Monreal Rodríguez, from IES Ibaialde, came in second and third place, respectively.

Thus, the three students have qualified for the national phase of competition, which this year will also be held at campus Navarre between March 22 and 25, when the high school students with the best results in Biology from each autonomous community will meet there.

Natalia Azcona Granada (IES Marqués de Villena), María Varela Atienza (Liceo Monjardín), Miguel Nagore Irigoyen (El Huerto), Nicholas Chérrez Nadau du Treil (Jesuitas), Ana Wenting Hernández Pardos (San Cernin) and Mateo Cueto Remacha (IES Benjamín de Tudela), ranked from fourth to ninth place, also received a diploma accrediting their participation from the School de Ciencias.

In the Navarre phase, 118 students from high school diploma from 22 schools in Pamplona, Tafalla, Estella, Tudela, Zizur Mayor, Olite, Villava, Barañain, Falces, Funes, Larraga, Arre, Gorraiz, Burlada, Castejón de Ebro, Iraitzoz, Eltzaburu or Auza, among others, participated.

After the national phase, the four best-ranked students will go on to the international test - which this year will take place in Coventry (Great Britain), between July 23 and 30 - and the next four will go on to the Ibero-American competition, to be held in Portugal in September.
