Do you want to study the Master's Degree at research in Social Sciences next year? Social Trends Institute offers four scholarships

Candidates are committed to carry out their thesis of Master's Degree in one of the following areas: family and family policies, civil society, globalization, changes in the world of work, or culture and lifestyles.

Social Trends Institute offers four scholarships to attend the Master's Degree at research in Social Sciences (MICS) at the University of Navarra in 2019-2020. The amount covers the total cost of the enrollment (€10,600).

To be eligible for grants, candidates must commit to write their thesis of Master's Degree on one of the following areas: family and family policies, civil society, globalization, changes in the world of work, or culture and lifestyles.

Candidates should send to Social Trends Institute their curriculum, the form of application complete and a letter of reference. They should send the material to Tracey O'Donnell(todonnell@socialtrendsinstitute.org) by May 19. Resolution will take place on June 3.

Scholarship recipients will be students who have demonstrated financial need and grade academic need, and agree to:

- Develop your research on a topic of interest to ITS and use, where relevant, publications generated by high school.

- Submit a quarterly report with the progress of the TFM within the deadlines established by the MICS.

- Collaborate with ITS as required for interviews and/or reporting.

- Submit to STI your final work , reflecting in it the financial aid received. STI will have the right to publish in its media a summary of the work, and will count on the cooperation of the grantee for interviews or explanations about it.

- Maintain contact with ITS in connection with your work, as do ITS meeting experts.

Itineraries of specialisation

The MICS is coordinated by the Institute for Culture and Society (ICS) and counts with the direct partnership of the Schools of Communication, Education andPsychology and Philosophy and Letters. It is accredited by the National Agency for Assessment of Quality and Accreditation (Agencia Nacional de assessment de la Calidad y accreditation).

The program is offered as a gateway to entrance for students who wish to enter the interdisciplinary research in the Social Sciences. Its training program allows students to specialize in Communication, Geodemography, Linguistics, and Education and Psychology.

The Master's Degree provides students with methodological tools and analytical skills that will enable them to carry out quantitative and qualitative programs of study of social and cultural reality, as well as to lead interdisciplinary work in a wide range of companies and public and private organizations.
