241 students from 44 countries are studying at the University of Navarra’s Schools of Schools thanks to the benefactors of the CARF Foundation

On Friday, May 29, some thirty benefactors of the CARF Foundation, hailing from various Spanish provinces, visited the University of Navarra’s campus . During the workshop up-close workshop both the Schools and the Bidasoaseminar , where seminarians and priests who receive their financial support to fill in programs of study are trained. During the 2025–26 academic year, they allocated 1,597,805 euros for enrollment accommodation assistance.
The president the University of Navarra, María Iraburu, welcomed the guests and highlighted the central role of the Schools within the project . She noted that, born from the founding vision of St. Josemaría Escrivá, these Schools close integration with other areas of knowledge, fostering a constant dialogue between faith and reason. This partnership shape in initiatives such as the Diploma Theology or the new dual Degree Philosophy and Theology.
Thanks to the support of benefactors, 241 students from 44 countries across five continents have been able to receive training this academic year. During her remarks, the president the scope of this work, emphasizing that “we are serving the universal Church: helping here means helping the Church in countries across five continents.” She also recognized the work of many people who have made the development these Schools possible, with a accredited specialization for Emilio Forte, director Admissions Office the Schools , who will soon be retiring, for his discreet and constant dedication.

In addition, attendees heard firsthand accounts from two students who are pursuing their studies thanks to these grants: Fernando José Vásquez, a Nicaraguan student working toward high school diploma Theology; and Francisco Javier Navarro, a Mexican student pursuing a licentiate degree Moral Theology.
