Eva Álvarez de Eulate, former student of Chemistry of the School of Sciences of the University of Navarra, participated in the 65th Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting, an international meeting between 65 Nobel Laureates and 672 young scientists from 88 countries held in Lindau (Germany). This event is held annually to promote the exchange and the creation of scientific work networks between young people and experts from different generations and cultures whose research is in the field of medicine, physics or Chemistry.

Álvarez de Eulate was selected for the interdisciplinary nature of her work which combines Biochemistry , Chemistry-physics and Chemistry analytical. Her research has been published in scientific journals considered of high impact in her field such as Chemical Communications and Analytical Chemistry.

Among the prize winners in attendance, the young scientist has been with Rudolph A. Marcus (Nobel of Chemistry 1992), J. Robin Warren and Elizabeth H. Blackburn (Nobel in Physiology or Medicine 2005 and 2009, respectively). According to Álvarez de Eulate, "having the opportunity to meet the most brilliant minds in the scientific research field is a great privilege. This event is a unique opportunity to learn from the best and at the same time to connect with other young researchers from other countries".

Álvarez de Eulate was also chosen, along with 19 other young scientists from among the attendees at meeting, to participate in a tour of south-west Germany to visit several universities and institutes such as the Max Planck Institute in Stuttgart.

Currently, this researcher, who develops her scientific work in the high school of research Nanochemistry of the University of Curtin in Australia, wanted to share her international experience with La Diáspora, section of Diario de Navarra about the experiences of Navarrese who study and work around the world. As he declares, in Australia"salaries are very competitive in industry and research; qualified people are paid according to their experience and knowledge".
