The director, screenwriter and director Raúl de la source has returned to the School to share with the students his experience of Mineritaa story about the status of women in the Cerro Rico de Potosi (Bolivia). After the screening, in an interesting colloquium, the director has revealed how it was carried out. Thus, Raúl de la source has shown that when he read the report Mineritos by Ander Izaguirre and Daniel Burgui, he knew there was a story he wanted to tell and told his producer Amaia Remírez. He was determined to do it.

The filmmaker from Navarre indicated that there was a fundamental phase of documentation prior to filming. However, he stated that"every trip is a great adventure", and that is why he does not know if he will be able to access his characters: "I don't really know anything, other than what I have read and imagined". From the source he has pointed out that it is very exciting "because you are looking for a story and you have no idea how it is going to be. We were at the expense of the Hill".

Already from the beginning a complicated production was predicted, "but a great story". The person who was going to be the key to entrance, Daniel Burgui, fell ill and they had to make their way on their own. Despite the unforeseen events, Raúl de la source always kept a positive attitude: "What motivates me the most is that, not having any idea how it will end. I don't leave room for no, for doubt. I always think we'll make it.

Taking into account all these incidents, the filmmaker has thanked his partnership to the women of the Cepromin mining association , who led him to those who would be the protagonists of the three acts in which the short film is divided: Lucia, Ivone and Abigail. The filmmaker from Navarre has pointed out that in the story he creates a game to maintain the dramatic tension with the suspense created by the moment of entrance to the mine.

Raúl de la source has emphasized that the shooting was quite dangerous. Specifically, the former student revealed that "going into the mine was the typical moment that you know is going to come, you don't feel like it, and you prefer not to think about it, until the day comes when Abigail says it's time" . Thus, de la source said that she chose to concentrate a lot on the technical part to overcome that fear. On the other hand, during the exit from the mine, once the filming was over, "I was thinking nonsense" because I could no longer rely on this distraction technique, and "I felt the weight of the mountain on me".

Raúl de la source has assured that he visualized the story before traveling and during the shooting. This visualization contained a surprising documentary ending, which the filmmaker did not want to take place inside the mine, but to grant a moment of liberation to its protagonists as a tribute.

In final, Raúl de la source was sample proud and excited with the result of Minerita, a project "very staff and in which history should prevail above all"
