A long history of joint activities

The University of Navarra and the Orfeón Pamplonés share a long history of joint activities. On March 26, the Youth Choir, the Escolanía del Orfeón Pamplonés, the Orchestra and Choir of the University of Navarra and the Youth Choir of the Community of Madrid performed Orff's "Carmina Burana" in the auditorium of the Museum of the University of Navarra. On April 11, the concert will be performed again at the Auditorio Nacional de Madrid.

The Orfeón Pamplonés is one of the great symphonic choirs of today and one of the most prestigious. Founded in 1865 in Pamplona, it has premiered in Spain great works such as Mahler's Eighth Symphony (1970), as well as undertaking milestones such as being the first Spanish choir to perform at Carnegie Hall (2010), at the London BBC Proms (2015) or at the St. Petersburg White Nights (2018).
