Tecnun celebrates International Basque Language Day with the presentation of certificate
This week, the Basque Government has accredited the School as an institution committed to the proper use of the Basque language.

Tecnun has received the certificate , an award that recognizes "the use, management commitment to the Basque language in the private socioeconomic sphere." This diploma after passing an assessment and certifies that the School makes good use of the Basque language.
Professor and member committee Tecnun, Xabier Insausti, welcomes this news and states that "the accreditation several significant benefits and impacts in terms of recognition, inclusion, and promotion of the Basque language, which can have a positive impact on its reputation and relations within the Basque community."
Among the benefits mentioned, Insausti details the following: "On the one hand, it is a recognition of the commitment to the Basque language and not only reinforces identity within the Basque Country, but also demonstrates support for linguistic and cultural diversity. In addition, facilitating the use of Basque within the institution promotes a more inclusive and welcoming environment for speakers of this language, improving the student and work experience. On the other hand, by incorporating Basque into its academic and administrative activities, Tecnun contributes to the normalization and revitalization of the language formal and institutional settings."
Furthermore, the submission this diploma, organized by the Deputy Ministry of Language Policy of the Basque Government, coincides with today, Wednesday, December 3, which is International Basque Language Day.
