The Museum of Natural Sciences returns to the streets of Pamplona

Animal, mineral and fossil specimens will be exhibited to the public on Carlos III Avenue and there will be workshops for children.

Next Saturday, June 8, the School of Sciences of the University of Navarra will once again take part of its Museum of Natural Sciences to the streets, on the occasion of the celebration of World Environment Day.

Around 20 pieces of animals, minerals and fossils will be exhibited in showcases located on Carlos III Avenue in Pamplona, next to the Encierro Monument. Among the sample, visitors can see an owl, a golden eagle, a giant lobster or a snake.

The schedule will be open to the public in the morning and afternoon, from 10 a 14 h and from 17 a 19:30. In addition, there will be recycling workshops, environmental drawing, observation with binocular magnifying glass and environmental silhouettes for the younger public.

The group of Environmental Volunteers has programmed this activity, in partnership with the City Council of Pamplona and the sponsorship of Caja Rural de Navarra.
