Students from the School of Economics & Business at the University of Navarra kick off an intensive on-site seminar at the University of Oxford
Forty-eight students from the School of Economics and Business enrolled in the General Management & Strategy and Business Management and Strategy programs have completed the new intensive on-site seminar at the Saïd Business School at the University of Oxford.

The five-day immersive summer course, titled "Next Generation of Business Leaders," provided students with both theoretical frameworks and practical tools to address modern management challenges. Taught by leading academics and industry experts, the curriculum integrated the core pillars of modern management, ranging from leadership and entrepreneurship to artificial intelligence, strategic market positioning, and effective communication.
One of the program’s coordinators, Jose Antonio Álfaro, states: “This seminar has enabled students to view entrepreneurship and innovation as a ‘way of doing things’ and to become leaders in all areas of life, both staff , and professional.”
The initiative was coordinated by members of the business department and overseen by program directors Marcel Meyer and José Antonio Alfaro, who accompanied the cohort alongside Professor Elena Sanjurjo.
On-site international seminars have been a central pillar of the School of Economics and Business’ strategic learning vision since 2022. Building on the School’s efforts to enable students to travel to key cities and institutions in New York, Washington, London, Frankfurt, and Brussels, this course at the University of Oxford—designed for the General Management & Strategy and the Business Management and Strategy programs—represents another key milestone in expanding international academic opportunities beyond the standard curriculum.
