Pablo Gimeno, a graduate of the School of Pharmacy and Nutrition of the University of Pamplona, has obtained the best grade in thespanish pharmacy residency program . In addition, four other graduates have obtained one of the 352 places offered by the Ministry among the 1,482 candidates who took the exam. They are Gaizka Moreno from Pamplona, who is in 39th issue , María Beloqui (Rentería), in 69th place, and Marina Sagaseta de Ilurdoz from Pamplona, who is in 187th place, and Leire González, in 198th place.
A student with a double Degree in Pharmacy and Human Nutrition and Dietetics, Pablo prepared himself at home for this achievement. In his study process, sports and music played a core topic: "Exercising and playing the piano helped me to disconnect and keep my balance during the preparation," he explains.
Recalling his time at the School, he highlights the solid technical training and the multiple professional opportunities offered to the students: "The demands made on us by the School financial aid us to develop a routine of effort and study, which is fundamental for an exam like this one. In addition, the human training is a differential aspect". He also values the dedication of the teachers, whom he describes as "excellent, human, demanding and fair".
For the future, he intends to specialize in Hospital Pharmacy at a nearby center, where he can continue his training and contribute to the profession.
Pablo thanks his family and friends for their support, as well as his girlfriend, who also took the spanish medical residency program exam this year. However, he dedicates a special memory to his grandfather, who passed away recently: "He would be very proud", he says emotionally.
