The latest report of the SPTO (Spanish Patent and Trademark Office) positions the Technology Center Ceit as one of the 15 Spanish organizations that applied for more international patents via PCT in 2022.
With a staff of 240 people, Ceit has positioned itself as the leading national organization in patents applied for by issue of employees.
The Technology Center Ceit has positioned itself as one of the 15 Spanish organizations with the highest issue of international patents via PCT applied for according to the annual report of the Spanish Patent and Trademark Office (SPTO) corresponding to the year 2022. With a approach focused on research, development and partnership with companies, Ceit continues to consolidate its position as a reference in the field of technology and intellectual property protection.

In this list, Ceit shares position with other institutions such as the University of Cordoba, the National University of Education a Distancia (UNED), the Foundation for the Promotion of Health and Biomedical research of the Valencian Community (Fisabio) and the Foundation for the research of the University and Polytechnic Hospital La Fe of the Valencian Community, each of them with a total of 7 international patent applications.

In addition, thanks to one of the patents granted, Ceit has created a new business which already has several venture capitalists as shareholders and which joins the list of spin-offs generated with technology 100% developed at Ceit.
