The teachers of department de Philology Carmen Llamas Saíz, Concepción Martínez Pasamar and Cristina Tabernero conference room, together with the director of the institute of modern languages Ruth Breeze, have published a monographic volume on Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL). The book, entitled degree scroll Integration of theory and practice in CLIL (Amsterdam, Rodopi, 2014), is a compendium of several works, some theoretical in nature and others eminently practical, that attempt to answer the many questions that arise when curricular subjects taught in another language have to be designed. In addition to combining theory and internship, the book presents a novel approach , as it contemplates all educational stages, from primary to university.

The theoretical chapters address aspects of the teaching-learning process such as assessment in CLIL subjects, the competences and skills that can be achieved with this methodology or the necessary cooperation between content and foreign language teachers. The practical section offers innovative teaching experiences, carried out in different countries and at different levels, which can shed light on the future professionals of Education.

Responding to the growing demand for qualified teachers at subject, the editors of this book were also the organizers of the I congress International "Practical Proposals in Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL)" and edited in 2012, together with Felipe Jiménez Berrio, another volume on CLIL, Teaching Approaches to CLIL
