Fifty-five alumni of the XXXV graduating class celebrate Alumni Weekend at Tecnun
The XXXV graduating class of the School gathered at Tecnun last Saturday, October 4, to celebrate the Alumni Weekend. A meeting that also took place at the Pamplona campus and that, in total, welcomed more than 1,000 alumni.

On Saturday, October 4, the Pamplona and San Sebastian campus celebrated the Alumni Weekend, a meeting that brought together more than a thousand graduates at the University of Navarra to relive memories and reconnect with classmates. At Tecnunfifty-five members of the XXXV graduating class, which this year commemorates the 25th anniversary of its graduation, participated in the event.
The day began with a guided visit of the different buildings of the School. In the Igara building, the attendees stopped to learn about some of the projects that the student body is currently developing, presented by a group of students.
In the auditorium
At 12:30 pm the main event began in the auditorium. The director of Alumni at Tecnun, Gonzalo Aranguren, and the Director of Business Relations, Internships and employment, Rocío Núñez, welcomed the attendees with a brief introductory session. Afterwards, the director of the School, Francis Planes, presented the most outstanding projects of Tecnun and stressed the importance of the partnership with companies for the development of all these initiatives.
The 55 alumni gathered in San Sebastian connected live to follow the intervention of the president of the University of Navarra, María Iraburu, who spoke from the sports center in Pamplona to the attendees of the event held there. Her exhibition offered a detailed vision of the University's strategy for the next five years.
Final touch
Finally, Professor Ángel Baguer shared an emotional speech of gratitude addressed to this graduating class, to whom he is especially fond of, and presented to the audience his book Progreso invertido. Challenges of a threatened society. Afterwards, everyone participated in a Kahoot, which was won by Rocío Garcillán.
At the end in the auditorium, Professor Juan Flaquer shared with the attendees his traditional mathematical joke-joke. Afterwards, in front of the main façade of Tecnun, the group photo was taken. The workshop concluded with an aperitif that brought together all the participating alumni in a relaxed atmosphere of reunion.
