Amaia Ortiz de Salazar, Álvaro San Juan and Gabriela Retana, students of the School Pharmacy of the University of Navarra have attended the MIT Global Startup Workshop (GSW) 2014, held in Marrakech (Morocco).
The MIT GSW is one of the world's leading conferences in fostering entrepreneurship through a supportive infrastructure embodied by the MIT entrepreneurial ecosystem.
The goal of the event, organized annually by some thirty MIT students, is to share best practices for the promotion and support of entrepreneurs from different regions and to contribute to the network global network of entrepreneur support organizations.
"Thanks to the Entrepreneurs Club we have been lucky enough to acquire this entrepreneurial spirit and attend to MITGSW, where we have been able to learn from the best and go deeper into an entrepreneurial world, which has opened our minds and posed great challenges for the near future," says Amaia Ortiz de Salazar.
During the three days of the MIT GSW, the undergraduates selected by the University's Entrepreneurship Club attended conferences with successful entrepreneurs, met university entrepreneurs from different countries and participated in an elevator pitch competition. Amaia became one of the finalists.
