The School of Sciences has wanted to say goodbye to its recent graduates with a video in which some professors of the School have participated, dressed in academic attire. This initiative arose as a result of the impossibility of celebrating the conventional graduation ceremony due to the state of alarm.

The video was opened by Luis Montuenga, Dean of the School, who reminded the recent graduates that a new stage now begins as alumni, and also encouraged them to keep alive the contact with the "alma mater".

The coordinators of Degree of the School -RafaelSirera of Chemistry, Raquel Conde of Biochemistry and Ricardo Ibáñez of Biology and Environmental Sciences- have highlighted the comprehensive training they have received in the School during these years and the good adaptation in the final period, marked by the pandemic and the training non-presential. "Come back whenever you need to School because we will be ready to lend you a hand," said Ibáñez.

The sponsors also sent a positive message to the students. Adrián Durán (Chemistry), José Leiva (Biochemistry ), Raúl Bermejo (Environmental Sciences) and Enrique Baquero (Biology) encouraged the graduates to find their own path and to put the knowledge they have learned at the service of society. "You have all the tools you need to build the future you want," said Professor Durán.

The graduation video was closed by Ana Rouzaut, vice dean of students at School, with messages in three directions: that they should be good people in their professional practice, that they should pursue their dreams, and that they can return to School whenever they wish.
