The sixth graduating class of the Master's Degree in Big Data Science celebrates its graduation in Madrid

65 students successfully complete intensive program to prepare them to lead the future of artificial intelligence and data science

The Institute of data Science and Artificial Intelligence (DATAI) of the University of Navarra celebrated this weekend the graduation of the sixth graduating class of the Master's Degree in Big Data Science and Artificial Intelligence (DATAI). Master's Degree in Big Data Scienceat the postgraduate program of the academic center in Madrid.

The workshop brought together more than 130 people, including students, family members, teachers and industry professionals, in an event that put the finishing touch to months of intensive training , collaborative learning andstaff and professional development .

With emotion, complicity and a good dose of humor, the graduation was marked by shared memories and gratitude to those who accompanied them along the way. The students not only reviewed the technical challenges overcome, but also vindicated the value of companionship, resilience and learning with purpose. "Beyond the code and the models, what we have experienced is a transformation," said José Antonio del Valle, development manager of the Master's Degree and host of the event. An experience that, as they said with laughter, included early Saturday mornings, algorithms that resist... and even the occasional support of ChatGPT.

The ceremony was presided over by Jesús López Fidalgo, director of DATAI and academic co-director of the Master's Degree; Stella Salvatierra, deputy director of DATAI and also academic co-director of the program; Raúl Antón Remírez, Full Professor at TECNUN - School of Engineering; and framework Antonio Bonilla García, Speciality Head of Global Analytics Transformation at BBVA.

One of the most significant moments was the intervention of the class delegates, Prudencio Ceada Morales and Baltasar Miguel Fenoll, who sent a message of gratitude on behalf of their classmates, recalling the challenges overcome, the bonds created and the experiences lived throughout the course.

During his speech, Ceada paid tribute to those who have accompanied the students on this journey: "Thank you for your patience, for your encouragement, for teaching us that the true value of effort is not in recognition but in perseverance". "The Master's Degree ends, but this is not a period. We all take with us colleagues who are friends, with whom I am sure we could count on every day for the rest of our lives," he continued.

In this edition, 65 students have completed the Master's Degree that, with a duration of ten months, combines a solid technical training with an internship orientation through workshops, projects in partnership with companies and a final applied work . The goal the program is to train professionals with analytical skills, strategic vision and mastery of technologies such as generative artificial intelligence, machine learning and predictive analytics.

This new promotion reflects DATAI's commitment to the training of highly qualified professionals, prepared to face the challenges posed by the digital transformation in their respective sectors.
