Tecnun, the University of Navarra’s School of Engineering, has signed a partnership agreement partnership the international NGO Ingeniería para la Cooperación (ICLI). For his part, ICLI Vice President Antonio Gómez stated that the partnership ICLI and Tecnun “stems from a goal : to improve people’s lives.” In this regard, he noted that while Tecnun contributes by training engineers, ICLI carries out cooperation projects in impoverished countries, also aimed at improving the living conditions of the communities with which it works.
Gómez also emphasized that “this shared vision opens up new opportunities for partnership, especially among faculty student body, with the aim of promoting joint projects that have a positive impact.”
It is worth noting that, thanks to agreement, the organization will be able to involve Tecnun students in their final Degree Master's Degree projects Master's Degree to its cooperation initiatives, thereby supporting their training internship helping them acquire skills that complement their programs of study. For its part, Tecnun will be able to allocate time from its faculty students through Tantaka Tecnun, the University of Navarra’s Solidarity Time Bank in San Sebastián.
