On the morning of Saturday, June 7, the University of Navarra celebrated the graduation of the IV promotion of the Degree in Applied management . The event brought together students, families, faculty and staff in a workshop that combined moments of emotion, reflection and celebration.
The academic ceremony was presided over by Victoria Rodríguez, Director of ISSA School of Applied Management; Beatriz Fuertes, Deputy Director of Students; Coilin S. Ó hAodha, Deputy Director of faculty and Office of Academic Affairs; Susana Aulestiarte, General Manager; Mila Laquidáin, Director of development; and Clemente Boyero, professor and sponsor of the graduating class.
During the ceremony, Victoria Rodríguez Chacón addressed the graduates, highlighting the stage they are completing as a transforming experience, marked by effort, friendship and finding staff. "The University has been a place of learning, but also of friendship, of challenges, of personal discoveries... and of many hours of effort," she said. He thanked the families for their trust and reminded the students that their training implies a commitment to society: "Talent will be necessary, but also generosity, sensitivity and the desire to contribute to a more dignified society".
Representing the graduating class, delegate Lucía Pérez de Ciriza and subdelegate Andrea Velásquez gave a speech full of emotion, good humor and gratitude, in which they reviewed their time at the university as a journey full of memorable stops: core topic subjects, international experiences in Boston, Paris and Cologne, moments of shared stress and lots of laughter. "What we collect today is not just a diploma, but a reflection of what we have grown and built together," they emphasized.
They also gave special thanks to the faculty and staff of the center: "Thank you for your closeness, demand and daily dedication. You taught us not only theory, but also how to apply it in a practical and human way".
In their final speech, the students emphasized that applied management has not only prepared them to understand how companies work, but also to function in the world with empathy and purpose. They closed with a quotation representative of the university spirit: "Make your life a service", a motto they want to take with them beyond the classroom.
The workshop, which began at 11:00 a.m. with a floral offering to Our Lady of Fair Love at the Shrine of Our Lady of Fair Love on campus, concluded with a cocktail party for all attendees at the Central Building.
