Last Saturday, September 30, the Taekwondo team of the University of Navarra went to Logroño to participate in the International Harvest Open, which had a high participation reaching 500 competitors. Ferrán Codes, as an athlete in the category of -74 kg, and David García as coach, went there.

After passing the preliminary rounds, beating among others a tough competitor from the Basque Country, Ferrán reached the semifinals. In the fight to reach the final he won by a tight 4-2 to a competitor of the Madrid team. A physical problem in his hand meant that, despite having reached the final, he could not compete in it, so he returned to Pamplona with the silver medal. 

After this first championship of the season, it is time to focus on the next objectives and recover teammates who have been absent due to injuries.
