The taekwondo section of the University of Navarra, congratulations!
The taekwondo section of Sports Service of the University of Navarra is doubly congratulated. On the one hand, the fighter Celia Sequeira Pera, from the University of Navarra Club, has received her first call with the Portuguese national team. She has been called to represent the National Senior Women's Team of Portugal in the category of 53 kg. and along with her have been selected eight other athletes from the neighboring country: two women and six men.
Celia Sequeira has been having a remarkable season, such as the Gold medal in the Portugal Open in the 49-57kg category.
On the other hand, David García Ros, director Taekwondo section coach of the club, has been awarded by the Spanish Taekwondo Federation discipline as the best "National Referee 2011". He will receive the award on March 24.
