Biola Javierre (BIO-BQM'06) in the Top 100 Women Leaders in Spain

The organization Top 100 Women Leaders in Spain has highlighted the role and initiative of 100 women in its 7th edition, which has had more than half a thousand candidates. Among them, eight are alumnae of the University of Navarra, chosen in the categories of Executives, Academics & Researchers, Public Service, Institutional & Politics, Revelation & Entrepreneurs and Media.

Biola María Javierre, graduate in Biochemistry and Biology from the University of Navarra, has been awarded in the category of Academics & Researchers. She is principal investigator of high school of research against Leukemia Josep Carreras.

Luisa Alli Turrillas has a degree in Communications and is Communications Director at IKEA Ibérica. She has been awarded in the category of Directives.

Also honored in the category of Directors, Tesa Díaz Faes, has a degree in Journalism and Audiovisual Communication. committee She is currently Director of Communications and member of group Nueva Pescanova's Board of Directors.

Clara Martínez de Careaga, Law graduate and board member of the committee General of the Judiciary, as well as member of the Executive Council of Gender and Access to Justice of the Ibero-American Judicial Summit. She has been elected in the category of Public Function, Institutional & Political.

Gabriela Uriarte, has also been highlighted in the category of Public Function, Institutional & Political. She has a degree in Law, is an Equal Opportunities Agent (UNED) and a Labor Relations Consultant.

María Andrés Marín, elected in the category of Public Function, Institutional & Political, has a degree in Journalism. She works as Director of the European Parliament Office in Spain.

Ana Lorenzo has a degree in Journalism and is the Director General of Transparency, Open Government and Citizen Participation of the Community of Madrid. She has been honored in the category of Revelation & Entrepreneurship.

María Eizaguirre Comendadorhas been elected in the Media category. She has a degree in Audiovisual Communication and is editor of TVE's Canal 24 Horas.

Top 100 Women Leaders in Spain is an organization whose main goal is to make female talent visible in order to build a society based on equal opportunities. In 2011 the first Top 100 Women Leaders in Spain ranking was launched and since then the initiative has not stopped growing, adding other events with companies and institutions to promote diversity and highlight the role of women in the public sphere.
