The portal has placed the publication in the position issue two of Spain and in the 72 of the world of the scientific magazines in the area of 'programs of study religious'.
The portal of scientific publications Scimago Journal Rank (SJR) has ranked the journal Ius Canonicumof the School of Canon Law ofthe University of Navarra, among the journals with the highest international impact. Specifically, the publication ranks 72nd out of 578 journals in the field of scientific programs of study related to religion. This means that it is placed in Q1, that is, within the top 25% of the most relevant journals in the world in its category, and issue two among the Spanish journals in this field. This indicator details the visibility of the journals contained in the database Scopus since 1996.

Ius Canonicum is the biannual review of the School of Canon Law that publishes - in paper and electronic edition - peer-reviewed scientific articles from Canon Law on all areas of Church and State ecclesiastical law. It also includes the legislation and sentences of the Tribunals of the Holy See, with appropriate commentary. It also contains reviews and chronicles of jurisprudence, legislation and scientific meetings.
