The Master's Degree European University in Food, Nutrition and Metabolism (EMENU) celebrated on September 9th the graduation ceremony of the 19 students who have completed the program during the past academic year. The new graduates come from Spain, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, the United States and Puerto Rico.
In her welcoming remarks, the director of Master's Degree, Mª Ángeles Zulet, alluded to all the "very good, good and less good" moments that the students have faced during the last few months and that have helped them to grow at all levels. "In the professional field, perhaps you are not yet aware of all the training you have acquired. We hope that it will help you to open up a prosperous future, because it is necessary to have professionals like you, specialized in the field of food, nutrition and metabolism, who with a critical spirit and scientific rigor know how to face, in the best possible way, the demands of the labor market."
This was followed by the closing lecture entitled "Follow-up University of Navarra (SUN) and per diem expenses Mediterranean: from association to causal inference". It was presented at position by Dr. Miguel Ángel Martínez-González, Full Professor of Preventive Medicine and Public Health.
Mª Javier Ramírez, dean of School of Pharmacy and Nutrition, closed the academic ceremony, highlighting the link that the graduates will now have with the university: "You are now part of the great alumni family of the University of Navarra. I hope that in your heart and in your head you will always have a memory of these months you have spent with us. Remember us fondly, keep us at contact and always think of the University as your alma mater, where you have taken the intellectual nourishment that has allowed you to reach this level of Master's Degree".
