The School of Economics and Business Administration and the IESE Business School will collaborate more closely in their teaching and research. The University of Navarra schools have signed an agreement that includes aspects such as the creation of a shared faculty for the joint programs -Master in Management (MiM) y Master in Finance (MiF)-The agreement includes, among others, the possibility of carrying out research stays at both centers and advantages in admission for students from the School.

"This new agreement generates synergies in teaching and research that will strengthen the University as a whole. With this agreement we are pursuing a double goal: on the one hand, to learn and enrich ourselves from work with a business school of the stature of IESE; and on the other, to contribute all our effort, talent and enthusiasm to promote teaching and research of greater quality and impact," explained the Dean of the School, Antonio Moreno Ibáñez.

Javier Quintanilla, director IESE's Madrid campus and board member of the MiM and MiF programs on IESE's Management committee , said that the agreement "will allow us to work more closely with the School of Economics, combining its solid experience in training young people with the global vision and General Administration that IESE brings. The partnership between the faculties in teaching and research will enrich both institutions - and the University as a whole - reinforcing our shared commitment to excellence and service to society.

An opportunity for teachers and students

The new agreement includes advantages in the admission of School of Economics students to the MiM and MiF. Specifically, those students with a grade average above 8 will be eligible for a special 60% scholarship that will allow them to access the joint programs at prices comparable to the School's own master's degrees. In addition, all School graduates who enroll in the MiM and MiF will receive a 12% alumni discount , the same as for the School's own master's programs.

From the professor point of view, there will be a joint faculty, where School professors will have double membership and the possibility of having a double research affiliationSchool). At the same time, shared access to data instructions for research will be facilitated. Two professors from the School will be part of the academic councils of the joint programs.

Finally, it opens the option for graduates of the Master in Economics and Finance (MEF) from the School of Economics to pursue a doctorate at IESE with joint thesis supervision. In addition, the School will give the business school access to the network of international exchange students or those who participate in the International Case Competition.
