GRISO co-organizes the International colloquium "The Republic of Letters between Baroque and Neoclassicism (1651-1750)".
The meeting took place at Casa de Velázquez in Madrid.
On April 7 and 8, the International Conference "The Republic of Letters between the Baroque and Neoclassicism (1651-1750)" was held at the Casa de Velázquez in Madrid. colloquium International "The Republic of Letters between Baroque and Neoclassicism (1651-1750)".The "The Baroque and Neoclassicism between the Baroque and the Neoclassicism", co-organized by the École des Hautes Études Hispaniques et Ibériques (EHEHI) of the Casa de Velázquez, the group Formes et Représentations en Linguistique et Littérature(FoReLL, EA 3816) and the Centre de programs of study of the Spanish Literature between Centuries(CELES XVII-XVIII) of the Université de Poitiers) and the group de research Siglo de Oro(GRISO) of the University of Navarra. The meeting was coordinated by Professor Alain Bègue of the Université de Poitiers.
The program of the colloquium included a total of 22 speakers from Germany, Spain, United States, France, Ireland and Italy. Representing GRISO-University of Navarra were researchers J. Enrique Duarte, with the discussion paper entitled "Aproximación al estudio de las anotaciones de César africano de Bances Candamo (Egerton Ms. 556)" and Mariela Insúa, who spoke on "La representación de la falsa beatería: del Siglo de Oro a Virtud al uso y mística a la moda (1729) de Fulgencio Afán de Ribera".
