The director of the group of research Siglo de Oro (GRISO) of the University of Navarra, Ignacio Arellano, gave at the end of August a seminar on "Lo maravilloso en la literatura del Siglo de Oro" at the University of Tromsø (Norway).  

The analysis focused especially on various wonderful places and beings that appear in Calderón's dramaturgy. Professor Arellano had been invited by Dr. Carlos Cabanillas, from the department of Culture and Literature at the University of Tromsø, who is developing an important project of research on cultural encounters and transfers in colonial American literature ("Cultural Transfers in Latin-American Literature").
