More than 100 students from high school diploma quotation will participate in the regional phase of the Biology Olympiad 2014.

The Biology Olympiad -regional phase- 2014 brought together at the University of Navarra more than 100 students from the 1st and 2nd years of high school diploma from 25 schools in the region

From the Biology Olympiad will come out the three students who will represent Navarra in the national phase, which takes place from March 26th to 29th in Zaragoza. Likewise, those classified from 4th to 9th place, both inclusive, will obtain a special accredited specialization awarded by the School of Sciences without the right to participate in the following phases.

During the workshop guided visits were made to the research center Applied Medical (CIMA) and the Museum of Natural Sciences for accompanying persons and the general public, and held the lecture 'Citizen Responsibility for the Environment', a position of the professor of the School Science, Enrique Baquero.

The students participating in the Biology Olympiad come from the following schools: Escolapios, Vedruna, IES Sancho III El Mayor, IES Julio Caro Baroja, Jesuitas, Sagrado Corazón, IES place de la Cruz, IES Basoko, IES Biurdana, IES Marqués de Villena, Dominicas, Ntra. Sra. Del Huerto, Irabia, BHI Pedro de Ursúa, Askatasuna BHI, IES Barañain, San Cernin, Luis Amigó, IES Padre Moret-Irubide, San Francisco Javier, IES Ibaialde, Ikastola San Fermín, El Redín, Miravalles and Santa María la Real.
