New Master's Degree in Marriage and Family in the University

The Master's Degree, with 36 subjects, will allow programs of study to be accessed from a distance through the Internet.

The University of Navarra will launch next year a new Master's Degree in Marriage and Family, aimed at all those postgraduates and professionals who wish to develop their activity in this field.

The Institute of Family Sciences of the University of Navarra is the manager of this new degree scroll that aims, on the one hand, train participants to educate and advise on the normal development of marital and family relationships and, secondly, to prevent and evaluate conflicts in this area of life.

This is a telemaster. Students, faculty and management staff will be given quotation on the Internet. Students will have access to multimedia didactic material, elaborated by pedagogues and specialists in distance Education (CD-Rom, basic and reference letter materials, documents, links to library pages, data instructions , etc.) and through the website of the Institute of Family Sciences.

E-tutoring, the new office

The new degree scroll of the University of Navarra is based on the concept of classroom virtual. Among the advantages of this new system educational is the possibility of direct and personalized attention to students through electronic tutorials.

The Study program, at modality telematic (Internet) or traditional (telephone, fax or mail), is both rigorous and flexible. Rigorous in its contents. The Master's Degree offers an interdisciplinary vision of marriage and the family through 36 subjects related to scientific areas such as Humanities, Biomedicine, Psychology, Psychopathology and Family Therapy, Education, History, Politics, Theology or Law.

And flexible because, although the Study program is planned to last two years, with a total of 84 credits (74 theoretical and 10 practical), students can enroll in the full course or in the subjects that interest them.

In October, the new Master's Degree University in Marriage and Family will begin. admissions period ends on June 30. In addition, for this summer the Institute of Family Sciences of the University of Navarra has organized its traditional summer courses. This year they will deal with topics such as the psychology of affectivity, marital communication and children's self-esteem.
