The University of Navarra is the best rated university in Spain in terms of reputation among employers, according to the QS World University Rankings 2026. In the global ranking, which measures the quality and performance of higher Education institutions, it is ranked 262nd, which places it among the 17% of the best in the world. Nationally, it ranks fifth and leads among private universities.
According to the ranking, prepared by the consulting firm Quacquarelli Symonds, the academic center, in addition to leading the reputation among employers, ranks fourth in employability results at the national level and stands out for its international profile : it is the third Spanish university in both percentage of international students and geographical diversity of the student body.
The University of Navarra also obtains good results in the area of professor, with the fifth best student/teacher ratio in the country, and is sixth in Spain in faculty internationalization . In research, it improved 11 positions in the academic citation indicator, reflecting the growing impact of its scientific production.
The QS World University Rankings 2026 has evaluated more than 8,460 universities from 106 countries, of which only 1,501 have been included in the final ranking. In Spain, 38 institutions made the cut. For this edition, QS analyzed 19 million academic publications, 200 million citations, 1.5 million academic opinions and 500,000 employer ratings. In the case of the University of Navarra, 8,707 scientific articles were taken into account, with more than 150,000 citations.
