Nearly 130 students from the School of Sciences carried out internships during the 2013-2014 academic year.
104 students completed domestic internships and 23 outside Spain

Of the 234 students of the School of Sciences who could do internships in companies and institutions, more than half, 127, had the opportunity to do them during the 2013-2014 academic year. Specifically, 104 students enjoyed national internships and another 23 abroad. Likewise, 12 students traveled outside Spain to carry out internships at research.
The research center Príncipe Felipe, Procter &Gamble, the Aranzadi Science Society, the National Accelerator Center, Vienna Biocenter, the Hospital de Navarra or Ultracongelados Virto were some of the places where they stayed within Spain; while outside Spain they chose Sandoz (Germany), University of Cambridge - Gurdon Institute (United Kingdom), Cancer Research UK Manchester Institute (United Kingdom), Yale School of Medicine (United States), Mount Sinai University Hospital (United States), Max Planck Institute für Molekulare Genetik, Institut Albert Boniot (France), UAMetropolitana ( Mexico), among others.

For her part, Cristina Martínez Cabañas, manager of Professional Careers of the School of Sciences, emphasized how more and more School students are doing internships and how companies and institutions "always come back for our graduates". Finally, he explained that in order to access the internships it is necessary for students to first attend the informative talk in January so that they can learn about procedure and the necessary requirements .
