More than 1,000 students from 40 schools participated this year in the activities organized by the University of Navarra on the occasion of Science Week. The students visited the research center Applied Medicine (CIMA) and the Museum of Natural Sciences, in addition to participating in workshops in Physics, Chemistry and Biology and attend to a lecture series. Schools from Navarra and other neighboring autonomous communities participated in the event, which was aimed at the general public.

Science Week ended on Saturday 15th with an Open Doors and Science Experimentation workshop for students, whose common goal was to learn more about the Degrees of Biology, Environmental Sciences, Chemistry and Biochemistry . The students performed experiments that show the mechanisms of chemical reactions, the synthesis of medicines, the handling of the microscope, the observation of animal and plant biodiversity, as well as learning about the relationship between man and the environment through experiments.

Likewise, on the occasion of Science Week, different activities were organized in Pamplona and Navarra by the Pamplona Planetarium, the Government of Navarra's department of Education , and the Public University of Navarra, with the collaboration of associations, entities and companies.
