The Meetings organized by the UniversityMaster's Degree in research, development and Medication Innovation (MIDI) of the School of Pharmacy and Nutrition of the University of Navarra are starting to be held. goal These meetings consist of visits from professionals in positions of responsibility in the pharmaceutical industry with the aim of providing student with information on the latest trends and the most interesting topics in the sector.

Maitane Ipiñazar is one of the professionals who participated in one of the first meetings of the course. In the session she had the opportunity to "introduce the students to the world of zebrafish and the potential of this alternative model increasingly widespread in the preclinical phase of new drugs and active ingredients," she says.

In addition to explaining the different toxicity and efficacy tests that can be developed with zebrafish, "I had the opportunity to share my experience in the sector" - says Maitane - "as well as my profession as 'Business Development Manager' at Biobide, business with a purely international market, oriented to the pharmaceutical, biotechnological, chemical and cosmetic sector".
