The San Sebastian Engineering School of the University of Navarra has organized the third edition of the Matenet competition. This competition is a pioneering competition in Europe aimed at students in the 2nd year of high school diploma in Spain and the south of France. Those who wish to participate must apply for the corresponding password with which they will be able to access the Internet to participate in the competition. This password can be obtained until February 18 on the competition website.

The competition begins on February 19. In the first phase, which lasts four weeks, a problem is proposed each week that the contestant must solve. He or she then has to send the solution via the network within four hours, and has the possibility of not answering or not participating in one of them. Five contestants will be chosen in this phase to participate in the final.

The winner of each week will receive an electronic diary . The third place winner will receive a digital camera, and the second place winner will receive a digital camera and a digital photo printer. The winner will receive a multimedia computer with printer, scanner and webcam.
