Opening of the second edition of the DOCENS Program
The event was chaired by the Vice President of faculty, María Iraburu, who presented the program in eight words core topic: mission statement, dialogue, reflection, teaching, self-training, multidisciplinarity, accompaniment and university.
Last Tuesday, September 27, the opening ceremony of the second edition of the DOCENS Program took place at classroom ICS. This year 36 teachers joined the program.
The opening was presided over by the Vice President of faculty, María Iraburu, who presented the program in eight core topic words: mission statement, dialogue, reflection, teaching, self-training, multidisciplinarity, accompaniment and university. Words that reflect the goal of this training program for professors who have recently started their professor activity at the University of Navarra, a task of great importance that requires adequate preparation.
During the event, Professor Manuel Martín Algarra, Deputy Director , also spoke. high school Core Curriculumwho explained to the participants the purpose, contents and dynamics of the program. During the development program, each professor is supported by a mentor, with whom he discusses the different aspects of his work: research teaching and training of students. Both the interviews with the mentors and the seminars, conferences and sessions of training professor , are aimed at creating spaces for meeting, study and dialogue.
The program is co-organized by the Vice-Rector's Office for faculty, Schools and Schools, the Core Curriculum Institute (ICC) and the Quality and Innovation Service.
