The School of Philosophy and Letters of the University of Navarra has signed a partnership agreement with the schools Luis Amigó and Jesuitinas of Pamplona, in the framework of the high school diploma program of research BI+. These agreements goal to promote research training in the field of Humanities among high school and high school diploma students, bringing them closer to the method and rigor of university academic work .
Thanks to this agreement, the students of both schools will be able to develop their research projects using the funds of the University's General file as a primary source , and will be advised by the School 's faculty and the technical staff of the file The initiative seeks to awaken interest in the Humanities from an early age and to build bridges between the University and the schools of Navarra.
The agreement was signed on October 9 by the dean of the School, Julia Pavón; Verónica Pérez Lanes, Bi+ coordinator of the Luis Amigó high school ; Diego Ezcaray, director the Jesuitinas high school , and Daniel Sánchez, coordinator of the program at the Jesuitinas high school. Among the commitments established with both schools, the School is committed to participate in the external assessment of the projects, propose new lines of research and offer specific training for faculty of the centers linked to the program. For their part, the schools will be responsible for promoting joint research and innovation in education projects and for promote the public dissemination of the results obtained.
These agreements are part of the partnership established between the School of Philosophy and Letters and the Bi+ association , which promotes the development of the high school diploma in research in Navarra. "This project represents a wonderful opportunity to foster intellectual curiosity and critical thinking among young people, and to strengthen the relationship between the University and the schools in our region," says Julia Pavón.
