Ceit in the 10th edition of Emakumeak Zientzian to promote gender equality in science
The initiative, which brings together 34 Basque entities, seeks to highlight the role of women in science and technology and promote gender co-responsibility.

The Ceit technology center, together with thirty-three other Basque entities, is joining the 10th edition of Emakumeak Zientzian, a project highlights the contribution of women in the fields of science and technology and promotes equal participation in science. The initiative will take place from February 3 to 11, 2025, coinciding with the International Day of Women and Girls in Science, which is celebrated every February 11.
Under the slogan "Marea bizia gara / We are a living tide," this edition highlights how each individual contribution generates a collective movement that promotes a more open science, connected to society and free of stereotypes. The project inspire scientific vocations in girls and young women, promoting a culture of equality and partnership women and men in research technological innovation.
A wide range of activities for all audiences
The Emakumeak Zientzian 2026 program includes more than 60 activities throughout the Basque Country, aimed at audiences of all ages. Ceit its doors to students
