The 10th Water Resource Recovery Modeling Seminar will bring together the academic community professional academic community in Barcelona this June to address the major environmental and energy challenges of the integrated water cycle using advanced models.

From June 14 to 18, 2026, the Montanyà Hotel in Seva (Barcelona) will host the 10th Water Resource Recovery Modelling Seminar (WRRmod2026), the reference letter congress reference letter advanced modeling of water treatment plants and water resource recovery. The event is organized by the Ceit technology center, in collaboration with the University of Navarra and the Autonomous University of Barcelona, and will bring together scientists, engineers, and management professionals from around the world.
The seminar as a meeting point meeting research and industry, with a focus on real-world case studies, best practices, and tools that optimize the design operation of water infrastructure.
The program will kick off on June 14 with a Young Water Professional Workshop, followed by parallel technical workshops on June 15. The main technical sessions will take place from June 16 to 18 and will feature presentations by international experts, including Eduardo Ayesa, CEO and researcher Ceit, who will serve as the keynote speaker and open the event on June 15.
Strategic Workshop: Challenges of the New DTARU Directive
