From September 14 to 19, the University of Navarra held Solidarity Week, a series of “ conference ” during which various organizations open their doors to students to showcase their work. The initiative, which coincides with Navarra’s “ volunteer activities ” Week, aims to goal bring the reality of volunteer activities closer to the university community.
Throughout this week, seven organizations—association , Síndrome de Down Navarra, Bidealde, association , SEI, Madre Coraje, ASPACE Navarra, Lagundu Arakil, and volunteer activities from the University Hospital of Navarra—are welcoming interested students, no prior experience required, with a presentation and a visit to the center.
Through Tantaka, the University of Navarra’s solidarity bank, nearly 1,400 students and professionals make volunteer activities during the academic year, more than 1,100 of them in the Autonomous Community of Navarra.
