Next Wednesday, February 22nd, at 6:00 p.m., the inauguration of TERMINUSa sample of the best Final Projects Degree (PFG) of the architects of the University of Navarra who graduated one or two years ago.

During the inauguration, some of the authors of these projects will bring the world of architecture and the process of a project to the attendees. At the end, an aperitif will be served.

TERMINUS is the end and the beginning. The end of the academic stage and the beginning of a time where the ability to imagine worlds opens a horizon of infinite possibilities. The name of the sample recovers the origin of one of the first exhibitions of final projects of degree program that the School of Architecture the University of Navarra held more than thirty years ago.

"That exhibition, included projects by great architects such as Eduardo de Miguel and Fernando Tabuenca. I remember it was exhibited in Seville, Madrid and Malaga," says Jesús Bazal, professor at PFG. Terminus now aspires to be, as it was originally, an itinerantsample . Work is being done so that it can be exhibited in other cities in Spain, such as Bilbao or Zaragoza, although it could be in more cities. 

Final Projects Degree

The formative stage of the new Degree in programs of study of Architecture, of five years duration, will culminate with the Master's Degree enabling that will integrate the current project End of Degree and thus will grant the professional category of Master's Degree, which will be a great competitive advantage for future graduates.

"This work of architecture, of professional nature, allows the student the technical execution and management assistant of the buildings of which it is the object, and aims to be both an exercise of synthesis of skills and partial knowledge acquired in the course of the training process, as a general essay of integration of all the subjects studied for the internship of the official document", says the architect and professor Julio Clúa, coordinator of the PFG.
