Tecnun and Chillida Leku Sign a partnership agreement

The Chillida Leku Museum and Tecnun, the School of Engineering at the University of Navarra, have signed a partnership agreement the goal strengthening the dialogue between the arts and technology, as well as promote joint promote in training, research the dissemination of cultural heritage. The agreement signed by the director Tecnun, Francisco Javier Planes, and the director Chillida Leku, Mikel Chillida.
The agreement access for Tecnun students to the museum for development academic and research activities. In addition, it provides for the launch of joint research projects, guidance on Degree and Master's Degree thesis Master's Degree thesis , as well as new initiatives related to the conservation, study, and dissemination of Eduardo Chillida’s bequest . “Engineering and art share a common mission to transform reality through creativity. Collaborating with an institution like Chillida Leku will allow our students to develop a broader perspective, where technical rigor coexists with sensitivity, beauty, and the ability to ask new questions,” emphasized the director Tecnun.
It is worth noting that the partnership originated from the project Degree project Degree by Tecnun student Eneko Fernández. The student designed and created a sculptural lamp inspired by the creative universe of Eduardo Chillida, in partnership the museum and the design architecture studio Arquimaña.
