It will be presented this Friday, the 24th, at the University of Navarra.
Ricardo Calleja, professor at IESE and Master's Degree in Christianity and Contemporary Culture at School of Philosophy and Letters of the University, has published the book "Vivir como si Dios existiera. A proposal for Europe. The book, published by Ediciones meeting, invites us to reflect on the future and the foundations of European culture based on a selection of texts by Pope Benedict XVI, who recently passed away.
The degree scroll of the book is based on an invitation that the then Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger made in 2005 to believers and non-believers to live and organize their coexistence "as if God existed". Suffering and beauty; love and sex; truth and freedom; or faith and reason are some of the themes addressed in the book.
On the occasion of its publication, a roundtable has been organized on Friday 24, at 4 p.m., at classroom 30 of Central Building of the University of Navarra. The author and professors José María Torralba and Miguel Brugarolas will intervene and it will be moderated by Ana Escauriaza, professor of Master's Degree in Christianity and Contemporary Culture.
