The Science Olympians prepare at the University of Navarra
Eight students who qualified for the National Biology Olympiad are training this week at the School of Science CIMA the international competitions

The eight high school diploma students high school diploma qualified for the national round of the Biology Olympiad are preparing this week at the School of Science and the CIMA at the University of Navarra for the tests they will face in the international and Ibero-American rounds. The competitions will be held in Coventry ( Great Britain) and the Azores ( Portugal), respectively.
They are Cristina Rodríguez Sanjuán and María Yesares Soto from Madrid; José María Pérez Garrigues and Tomás Rodríguez Gil (Seville) from Valencia -who will participate in the international test from July 23 to 30-, and Ezequiel Carretero Gil (Alicante), Víctor Haro González-Vico (Córdoba), Marcos Martínez Jiménez (Madrid) and David Morales Alonso (Oviedo), who have qualified for the Ibero-American test to be held in September.
A training program has been designed for all of them, with content tailored to the exams they will need to pass at international competitions. With this goal take courses in Plant Physiology and Histology, Evolution and Diversity, and Biochemistry and prepare for the theoretical exams with the financial aid researchers and professors from CIMA the School of Science university.
