The Science Olympians prepare at the University of Navarra
Eight students who qualified for the National Biology Olympiad are training this week at School and CIMA for the international tests.

The eight students from high school diploma who qualified in the national phase of the Biology Olympiad are preparing this week at the School de Ciencias y el CIMA of the University of Navarra for the tests they will face in the international and Iberoamerican phases. The competitions will be held in Conventry (Great Britain) and in the Azores Islands (Portugal), respectively.
They are Cristina Rodríguez Sanjuán and María Yesares Soto from Madrid; José María Pérez Garrigues and Tomás Rodríguez Gil (Seville) from Valencia -who will participate in the international test from July 23 to 30-, and Ezequiel Carretero Gil (Alicante), Víctor Haro González-Vico (Córdoba), Marcos Martínez Jiménez (Madrid) and David Morales Alonso (Oviedo), who have qualified for the Ibero-American test to be held in September.
For all of them, a program has been designed for training whose contents are adapted to the tests they will have to pass in the international competitions. With this goal the students practice Plant Physiology and Histology, Evolution and Diversity, Biochemistry , and prepare the theoretical questions with the financial aid of researchers and professors of CIMA and the School of Sciences of the academic center.
