The III Albareda Lecture looks at the Universe

Osvaldo Peinado, Ground manager of the German Aerospace Center (DLR), is the third guest of these lessons, promoted by the Chair Timac Agro-University of Navarra.

goal The III Albareda Lecture, promoted by the Chair Timac Agro-University of Navarra, will be held next Monday, the 27th, at the School of Sciences with the aim of bringing leading scientists closer to the university campus .

After the participation of the award Príncipe de Asturias de las Ciencias Avelino Corma and the CSIC scientist author of "Los microbios que nos comemos" Alfonso V. Carrascosa, the guest for the third lecture is Osvaldo Peinado, head of Ground Operations at the German Aerospace Center (DLR) and expert in GIS communication systems, satellites and communication technologies in international stations and PhD in Space Sciences from the University of Munich.

During his lecture -open to all public, which will take place at 12 h. in the auditorium of Sciences Building- Dr. Peinado will explain the application of Remote Sensing technologies in crops -due to the action of the Timac Agro-University of Navarra-. Peinado will explain the application of Remote Sensing technologies in crops -due to the area of action of the own Chair Timac Agro-University of Navarra-, but he will also detail curiosities about the life of astronauts in international stations, about how they perform different experiments during their stays in space; as well as about the latest news on communications between different international stations, the current projects led by robots and directed by his Agency, etcetera.
