The School of Nursing of the University of Navarra, in partnership with the Université Paris Cité, the Université Libre Bruxelles and the Universidad Carlos III, has presented a serious game (SG) -a virtual tool that uses elements of gamification to generate a positive and didactic experience through simulation- to incorporate Person-Centered Care (PCC) in an emergency status .

In the context of a European Erasmus+ project , the group formed by professors of health sciences and educational engineers, have created a SG for students of health sciences (medicine, midwifery and nursing) on the management of an obstetric emergency status under the eyes of the CCP.

This tool has been designed using Unity-based software : VTS. It adapts a real scenario to the virtual world. It includes questions that can be answered through single or multiple choice, or in free writing. In addition, feedback is provided on their performance at various points in the game and at the end, thus measuring students' achievement in the acquisition of non-technical skills. The application is available in three languages (French, English and Spanish) and lasts 30 minutes.

The results, presented at the XXVII congress of research in Care held in Valladolid, concluded that, in the field of obstetric emergencies in different countries, it is possible to create an internationally relevant serious game that allows the incorporation of the CCP in different situations and can favor the involvement of students to develop non-technical skills in open pedagogical environments.
