Ibai García Galardi, a sophomore in the high school diploma IES Navarro Villoslada in Pamplona, result the regional round of the Chemistry Olympiad. The test, held at the School of Science at the University of Navarra on March 12, 74 high school diploma students high school diploma schools and high schools across Navarra participated.
The second best result was for Iñigo Rodríguez Losarcos, from IES Basoko de Pamplona, and the third position was for Diego Rubio Lázaro from IES Sancho III El Mayor de Tafalla.
The schools and institutes participating in this regional phase were Irabia-Izaga, San Ignacio-Jesuitas de Pamplona, IES Navarro Villoslada, Santa Teresa de Jesús, IES Mendillorri, IES Basoko, high school Luis Amigó, IES Benjamín de Tudela, Miravalles-El Redín, IES place de la Cruz, Jesuitinas, IES Sancho III El Mayor, IES Marqués de Villena, Liceo Monjardín, Dominicas Pamplona, Calasanz-Escolapios, Santa María la Real-Maristas, and San Cernin.
The awards submission will be held on Wednesday, May 7 at 5:30 p.m. at the Sciences Building of the University of Navarra.
The first three students classified in this regional phase will represent the Comunidad Foral in the National Chemistry Olympiad to be held in Cordoba, from April 25 to 27.
