Dr. Luigi Palla, of the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, visit the research center in Nutrition
Dr Luigi Palla, Assistant Professor in Medical Statistics and Epidemiology at department Medical Statistics, London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (UK), recently visited the research center in Nutrition (CIN) of the University of Navarra.
Dr. Palla is currently collaborating in a project of research on "Food Environment and Quality of the per diem expenses", together with Dr. Eva Almirón Roig, researcher of the Personalized Nutrition Line of the CIN. Taking advantage of his visit, Dr. Palla gave a talk to present the results of the study.
In addition to visiting the CIN facilities, Dr. Palla also met with Prof. Alfredo Martínez, director scientist of the CIN, and Dr. Pedro González Muniesa, coordinator of International Office of the School of Pharmacy and Nutrition, as well as Dr. Almirón, to evaluate a possible academic partnership between the University of Navarra and the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine for the realization of distance learning courses.
