The School of Communication at the University of Navarra today announced the call for nominations for the 2027award Brajnović Communicationaward . The award, presented every three years, honors professionals and institutions in the field of communication whose work has stood out for defending human dignity and values such as freedom, tolerance, and solidarity.
Since its inception in 1997, the award after Luka Brajnović, a Croatian journalist, writer, and poet who settled in Spain after World War II, taught more than thirty generations of students at the University of Navarra, and authored the first guide the ethics of journalism written in Spanish. He embodies a commitment to communication that serves the truth and the people.
The award be granted to both individuals and institutions, and its purpose is to highlight exemplary careers that serve as reference letter professionals, students, and society at large.
How to Apply
Anyone can nominate candidates by September 30 at the website. Nominations must include a brief profile of candidate, a sample of their work a reasoned explanation of the merits that make them deserving of the award. Letters of support or other supplementary materials may be attached, if desired. The person submitting the nomination must identify themselves and provide their contact data .
Evaluation criteria
The jury will evaluate the strength and consistency of the candidate professional career, the verifiable impact of the candidate work candidate society, the alignment between the internship and the values that inspire the award, and the significant contribution to the field of communication, including innovation when it results in demonstrable improvements in professional practice or outcomes.
